Full Spectrum Doula Practicum — Mar 28-29, 2025

This is a two day event that runs from 10am - 4pm each day.

Join this live training with BADT, featuring hands-on doula clinical practices, scenario roleplaying, live demonstrations, with sessions dealing with various topics like comfort measures, postpartum healing, grief, self care for doulas, and business.

Open to past & current BADT 12-wk Training students.

Practicum Schedule

Day 1: 

10:00 am - 10:15 am: Welcome, Overview & Introduction

10:15 am - 11:30 am: Opening Speaker

11:30 am - 12:45 pm: Labor Pain Management & Role-Playing

12:45 pm - 1:45 pm: Lunch Break

1:45 pm -2:45 pm: Comfort Measures for Newborns

2:45 pm -3:00 pm: Movement Break

3:00 pm -4 pm: Grief Session

Day 2: 

10- 10:15 am: Welcome, Overview & Introduction

10:15 - 11:15 am: Nutrition, Food Preparation & Plant Medicine

11:15 am - 12:15 pm: Belly Binding 

12:15 pm - 1:15 pm: Lunch Break

1:15 pm - 2:15 pm: Massage Techniques

2:15 pm - 2:30 pm: Movement Break

2:30 pm - 3:30 pm: Doula Self Care & Business Session

3:30 pm - 4 pm: Closing 

7:00 pm - 9:00 pm: Catered Dinner & Gathering
