Harm Reduction 101 for Birthworkers

This is one of five lessons that make up our Prerecorded Supporting People Who Use Drugs and Those in Recovery CE Complete Course Bundle. We offer our CE courses with the option of purchasing select lessons, or the entire course, as a way to increase the accessibility of this information.

There are no prerequisites to enroll in this course. You do not need to be a doula or have any specific background experience. This course does not result in certification.

This core class offers the opportunity to learn about the history and context of harm reduction, as well as how to apply harm reduction principles to birthwork. It is a foundational course for birthworkers who want to support people who use drugs and folks in recovery.

Corrected captions are included in all course session recordings. Additional prerecorded materials include automated captioning.
